Boomtown Fair 2011 - the regulars!

I had few face-paint customers at the Boomtown Fair who turned into face-paint fanatics and came back each day for a different paint. Including my brother Joe who set out to challenge my animal painting skills by wearing a different animal suit everyday!

Tyler
A very polite young gentleman who was a dab hand at the diablo - what a character!

day three: circus

Joseph
My brother, the Kigu suit man!

Boomtown Fair 2011

Boomtown fair - a crazy carnival of a festival set in the rolling hills of Hampshire.
Co-ordinated by Emma Allen and wokring for the first time with
Karen Raingold: http://www.raingoldfaces.com/, http://www.karenraingold.com/index.html

 old man!

A skull morris man- part of the stag crew that paid us a visit most days!
Spot the stag as Mona Lisa - great fancy dress!

The adventures of the sugar skull and unicorn

Not my face-paint, but I think this lady looks amazing - very Frida Kahlo.

The Big Chill 2011

The biggest challenge of all the festivals so far due to the fact that I was working as a guerilla face-painter!

Luckily I came across some very warm and welcoming people in the form of
Tea Dragons tent http://www.teadragons.com/
and the Coyote Moon cafe http://www.coyotemooncafe.co.uk/

Eternally grateful!

Stained glass window at the Royal Oak, Ledbury - the town closest to the Big Chill arena

Ledbury wattle and daub- love it!

hillside inflatables - glowing in time to calming music - a good place for a midnight cup of tea!

Chemical brothers - visuals like no other

With face and body painter Sarah Jane Ellis (http://www.modelmayhem.com/631518)

My saviours of the Big Chill - Julie and Hannah (it's all in the name!)
Delicious tea including my favourite - Red Dragon: spiced rooibos

Blue eyebrows!

Coyote Moon cafe.
A very relaxing atmosphere to paint in.
Probably more tea drinking and brownie eating went on than face painting!!
