Felicity and Scott, Halloween Party

Two friends Felicity and Scott asked me to paint them for a Halloween party.

I had an extra long amount of time to spend on them and it was a really inspiring paint.

Felicity's face was inspired by carnivorous plants.

Scott's was taken from a Basquiat painting.

Dj Xango

A face paint for DJ Xango (a.k.a my brother Joe) in preparation for a set he was about to play that night.
Inspired by tribal face painting.

Secret Garden Party 2012

Despite the mud (which had a chewing gum like quality) Secret Garden Party was brilliant as always.
A great place for inspiring face paints!

JUBILEE, Selfridges

Over the Jubilee weekend I face painted with the lovely Emma Allen and Natalie Sharp in Selfridges. A very patriotic weekend - needless to say, I ran out of red!

'The Factory of Confessions', Whitechapel Gallery

I was invited by artists Rebecca Davies and Eva Sarjovic to be part of this fantastic 'Factory of Confessions' day at the Whitechapel Gallery.

Inspired by Gillian Wearing - using typed, spoken, edible and mapped formats, the highlight of the factory was a photo booth where families were invited to dress up in disguise and have a polaroid photo taken.

I helped in providing an extra element of disguise for participants and prior to the event had a bit of fun making posters for the event.
A really great day spent in the gallery's rooftop education studio.

Green warty monster practice - otherwise known as my father!

A very patient model!
